Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a senior data science leader embedded in the Developer Platform product team. You will guide data-informed decisions, shape analytics strategy, and manage a small team of Product Data Scientists, helping the platform scale and deliver value to developers and enterprises.

You will partner with product leaders to define bets, measure success, and lead high-stakes analyses, including experimentation and causal inference, to inform roadmap and execution at Anthropic.

Qualifications

• Have 3+ years managing data science teams.
• Experience leading analytics for a product area at significant scale.
• Trusted partner to senior product/business leaders on API or developer tools.
• Strong product sense and business judgment for developer/B2B products.
• Fluency in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner to Developer Platform product leads and shape priorities.
• Set the data science agenda for the team and decide what to deprioritize.
• Manage and develop a small team of Product Data Scientists.
• Frame key questions facing the platform and size opportunities.
• Define measures of success and align leadership on metrics.
• Lead experimentation and causal inference as part of product decisions.
• Turn analyses into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Establish foundational data practices supporting rapid iteration.
