Anthropic is seeking a senior data science leader embedded in the Core Apps product team to drive data-informed decisions as we scale safe, frontier AI. You will lead a small team of Product Data Scientists, shape analytics strategy for Claude Code and new bets, and partner with product leads to set direction and deliver impact across our Apps portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive data science experience leading analytics for a product area at significant scale.
• 3+ years managing data science teams with leadership and direction.
• Trusted partner to senior product and business leaders, influencing roadmaps.
• Strong product sense and business judgment with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner to Core Apps product leads, shaping strategy and roadmaps.
• Set the data science agenda for Core Apps and prioritize impact areas.
• Manage and develop a small team of Product Data Scientists.
• Frame key questions, size opportunities, and provide clear recommendations.
• Define core metrics and measurement frameworks for success.
• Set standards for experimentation and causal inference across Core Apps.
• Translate analyses into narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Establish foundational data practices and analytics infrastructure to support rapid iteration.
