Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Tech Lead for KOL and external engagement platforms to guide the design, delivery, and evolution of platforms supporting KOLs, speaker programs, congresses, events and Medical Affairs activities.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant engagement solutions across a global enterprise. This remote role requires leadership across technical teams and third-party partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Tech Lead/architect or engineering leadership role.
• Strong understanding of customer engagement tech in pharma/biotech/life sciences.
• Experience with engagement platforms and integrations (APIs, CRM).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of KOL and external engagement platforms.
• Design and implement integrations between engagement platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and enterprise apps.

Tech Lead, KOL & External Engagement Platforms

12-Month Contract | W2 Hourly Engagement

We're partnering with a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation undergoing a major digital transformation and looking to appoint a Tech Lead, KOL & External Engagement Platforms to join a high-profile customer engagement technology team.

This role will lead the design, delivery, and evolution of platforms that support KOL engagement, speaker programs, congresses, events, Medical Affairs activities, and healthcare stakeholder interactions. Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and external vendors, you'll play a key role in delivering scalable, compliant, and integrated engagement solutions across a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of KOL and external engagement platforms.
• Design and implement integrations between engagement platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and enterprise applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to internal teams and external vendors.
• Drive platform improvements, automation initiatives, and user experience enhancements.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, governance, and audit requirements.
• Support agile delivery practices and roadmap execution.

Desired Background

• Experience in a Tech Lead, Solutions Architect, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of customer engagement technologies within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments.
• Experience with platforms such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Events, SpotMe, Cadence, Salesforce, or similar engagement solutions.
• Knowledge of KOL engagement, congress management, speaker programs, Medical Affairs, or HCP engagement workflows.
• Experience managing integrations, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Ability to lead both technical teams and third-party vendors.
