Job summary

Bernalillo Public Schools seeks a Technician III to administer the district's business systems, telecommunications, and E-Rate program. The role provides daily staff support and maintains access controls, IP phone operations, and budget records.

The successful candidate will manage iVisions and OKTA access, oversee the IP phone system, track invoices, and coordinate E-Rate filings and reimbursements to ensure compliance and efficient service across schools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Several years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or telecommunications.
• Experience administering business or ERP systems and user access, preferably in a school district.
• Experience with E-Rate filing and compliance strongly preferred.
• Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, or budget management.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily user support for iVisions, OKTA logins, and staff questions.
• Administer the IP phone system, including extensions and caller ID changes.
• Manage telecommunications accounts and monitor invoices and budgets.
• Coordinate E-Rate forms, filings, reimbursements, and compliance documentation.
• Provide front-line technical support and excellent customer service to staff and students.
