DREAM invites applications for a Technology and Game Design Instructor to lead after-school enrichment activities for Pre-K to 8 students in East Harlem and the Bronx. You will plan engaging lessons in technology, game design, arts, and STEM, aligned with the DREAM program model, delivering sessions to groups of 18–20 students with youth workers support.

Reporting to the Dean of Student Life, the role emphasizes literacy integration, collaboration, and strong classroom management, with a

Competenze

• 2+ years experience working with groups of youth.
• Ability to independently plan and implement lessons in specialty area.
• Clear passion for specialty area.
• Understanding of effective youth development strategies and conflict resolution.

Mansioni

• Grades PreK-3: Design and deliver lesson plans aligned to the DREAM program model.
• Grades 4-8: Design and deliver lesson plans culminating in a project or presentation.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and Dean of Student Life to provide a cohesive experience.
• Embed literacy throughout all instruction.
• Prepare materials before activities and facilitate clean up afterward.
• Encourage youth to participate and be active.
• Serve as a role model and maintain professional behavior.
• Implement health and safety protocols as required.
