Job summary

DREAM is seeking a Technology and Game Design Instructor to lead after‑school enrichment for Pre‑K to 8 students in East Harlem and the Bronx. You will design engaging activities, deliver lessons, and supervise sessions supported by Youth Workers.

Responsibilities include integrating literacy, coordinating with program staff, and maintaining safe, positive classroom environments in partnership with DREAM’s mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age by start date.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with groups of youth or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to independently plan and implement lessons in the specialty area.
• Clear passion for the specialty area and youth development.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans for Pre-K to 8 enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers, Dean of Student Life and Associate Director to ensure cohesive experiences.
• Embed literacy across instruction and prepare materials before activities.
• Facilitate activities and maintain health and safety protocols.
