DREAM is seeking an energetic K-8 After School Enrichment Specialist to design and deliver engaging activities for Pre-K to 8 students across East Harlem and the Bronx, aligned to our DREAM program model. You will lead 45-minute sessions with groups of 18–20 students, collaborate with Youth Workers and the Dean of Student Life, embed literacy, and manage materials within a conservative budget.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old by start date.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or certification preferred.
• 2+ years experience with groups of youth or similar.

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver lesson plans for PreK-3 that align to DREAM model.
• Design and deliver lesson plans for 4-8 to culminate in a project.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and Dean of Student Life for a cohesive experience.
• Embed literacy throughout instruction.
• Prepare materials before activities and ensure cleanup.
• Encourage positive youth participation.
• Serve as a positive role model and maintain professional behavior.
• Implement health and safety protocols and respond to incidents.
• Note: budget-constrained materials/resources as needed.
