Job summary

DREAM is seeking a Technology and Game Design Instructor to deliver enrichment sessions for Pre-K to 8 students in East Harlem and the Bronx. You will design engaging lesson plans, lead activities in robotics, arts, and culture, and partner with a Youth Worker team under the Dean of Student Life.

In-person role with after-school hours (Mon-Thu, 3-6:15pm). Compensation ranges from $30 to $38 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for advancement as DREAM grows its program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ by start date.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or related certification preferred.
• 2+ years of youth work experience or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans for enrichment activities (PreK-3 and 4-8).
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and leaders to provide cohesive experiences.
• Embed literacy across instruction and ensure safe, engaging sessions.
• Prepare materials in advance and facilitate post-activity cleanup.
• Encourage participation and model professional behavior.
• Enforce health and safety protocols and respond to incidents.
• Work with a conservative materials budget as needed.
