Job summary
ExcelliSearch, Inc. in East Chicago, IN seeks a Psychiatrist - Outpatient for a full-time, permanent role. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, prescribe and monitor medications, and collaborate with care teams in a tech-forward environment.
ABPN board certification or eligibility and Indiana license with CSR/DEA registration are required. EPIC EMR experience is preferred. Excellent MGMA-aligned pay, comprehensive benefits, PTO, CME funds, licensure reimbursements, sign-on bonus, and loan
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility by ABPN and a clear plan for certification.
- Active Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
- Experience with EPIC EMR and comfort with AI-assisted documentation tools.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, assessing efficacy and side effects.
- Utilize psychotherapy alongside pharmacology for acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with primary care, social work, and nursing teams for integrated care.
- Maintain accurate EHRs and participate in quality reviews to ensure safety.
