Washington Mills seeks an Inside Sales Representative to market and sell abrasive grain and refractory and ceramic raw materials. This on-site role in North Grafton, MA is ideal for someone eager to learn and win, focusing on identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, and turning them into customers.

You will develop and close new business through managing incoming leads, calls, emails, and social channels, using CRM and research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Materials Science or other Engineering field preferred.
• Experience in research, sales, negotiations and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with sales prospects through a mix of phone calls, video calls, emails and social media.
• Qualify incoming leads.
• Heavy user of CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
• Provide product information and application expertise.
• Conduct detailed research to identify new leads and prospects.
• Ask questions, be inquisitive and take detailed notes.
• Build confidence and goodwill of the Company.
• Identify and obtain new leads through cold calling, networking and research.
• Assist in the development of market strategies related to target industries.
• Manage sales pipeline and perform to established goals.
• Handle admin tasks: pricing, quoting, CRM, marketing documents.
