Understood is seeking a Director of Technology Enablement to elevate how technology empowers our people and strengthens the organization. This hands-on leader will drive AI adoption, tool integration, and workflow redesign in a hybrid NYC role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology, IT, or digital transformation roles.
• 3+ years leading a team in a fast-moving or complex environment.
• Hands-on technical owner who can set up, configure, and run systems you’re accountable for.
• Experience enabling technology adoption and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technology evangelist to improve workflows with AI and tools.
• Champion AI (Claude) adoption across functions and build internal skills.
• Lead and develop a small IT team and oversee hardware lifecycle and support structure.
• Centralize knowledge in Jira, drive cross-functional governance and taxonomy.
