Qualifications

• Current TN teaching license in English or middle school endorsement.
• Bachelor's degree or higher aligned to English certification.
• Proven track record of academic success (TVAAS/state assessments/NWEA preferred).
• Ability to use digital content and project-based learning effectively.
• Ability to work in an extended day environment and inclusion settings.

Responsabilités

• Create lesson plans aligned to standards and weekly schedules.
• Teach a common core based English curriculum to middle school scholars.
• Integrate technology into lessons and plans.
• Motivate scholars toward achievement and monitor progress.
• Meet with parents regarding performance and behavior.
• Develop scholar improvement plans and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with special educators in co-teaching for IEP/504 students.
• Participate in weekly professional development and planning.
• Create and review student assessments and interventions.
