Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead all aspects of tax engagements from our California, New Jersey, or New York City offices. You will mentor staff, build and maintain client relationships, and drive growth for technology and emerging growth clients.

The role requires a CPA or equivalent and at least 8 years in professional services. State ranges and a competitive bonus program supplement base compensation across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA, JD, LLM or MST required.
• Minimum of 8+ years of professional services experience.
• Experience with C-Corp Form 1120 tax filings and ASC 740 tax provisions.
• Industry knowledge in Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth is a plus.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
• Proven sales process deployment and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of tax engagements and supervise staff.
• Build and maintain client relationships across regions.
• Collaborate with technology industry teams on engagements and opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic plans and market opportunities.
