Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tech & Emerging Growth Tax Senior Manager in California to lead tax engagements, mentor staff and build client relationships. You will supervise complex returns and ASC 740 calculations while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Based in California (SF preferred), with possible NY metro or NJ locations, the role emphasizes strategy, business development and delivering high-quality services to technology clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional services experience.
• CPA/JD/LLM/MST required.
• Industry knowledge in Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sectors preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to define market opportunities and strategic plans.
• Proven ability to develop and implement sales processes and client relationships.
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve growth goals in revenue, headcount and ecosystem relationships.
• Coordinate with national practice for collaboration and resource alignment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to pursue technology and emerging growth opportunities.
• Set regional revenue and service growth goals and track progress.
• Participate in strategy sessions and industry leadership discussions.
• Ensure resources and deliverables for technology clients are aligned and delivered.
