Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead operations in Denton, TX. The role focuses on shipping/receiving oversight, VAA leadership, and smooth coordination with transportation and other departments to keep the plant running efficiently.

You will monitor WMS, MES and HRIS systems, train staff, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This full-time position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations leadership in automotive, 3PL, or heavy manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Third Party VAA Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, Value-Added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk and Small Lot Metering.
• 3+ years leading/hourly personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to train others on processes, work instructions, and procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Must be a self-starter with integrity and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shipping and receiving systems via local and customer WMS.
• Supervise Value-Added Assembly (VAA) personnel.
• Monitor operation of VAA equipment and systems.
• Manage and monitor WMS, MES and HRIS systems.
• Coordinate activities with other departments including transportation.
• Manage the local/corporate QMS.
• Coordinate activities with other departments.
• Implement programs to ensure plant cleanliness.
• Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
• Participate in cross-functional Five Phase Problem Solving Teams.
