Job summary

TTI, Inc. is seeking a Technology Development Engineer to create and convert new designs through targeted customer engagement and supplier strategy development.

The role emphasizes design‑in activities, collaboration with regional sales teams, and proactive use of CAM/OMS tools to drive opportunities and revenue. Key responsibilities include developing product strategies, visiting customers, supporting design registrations, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical or related field, with 5 years of related technical support or design experience.
• Extensive product and technical knowledge in the distribution industry.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communications.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical product, application and supplier strategies with sales teams.
• Visit customers to execute design-in of focus products into end customer applications.
• Drive customer visit activity and monitor OMS and CAM data.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales and regional managers to review progress.
• Provide technical support to Sales team and BPMs.
• Update teams on new products and total solution applications.
• Maintain regional market awareness and review design registrations.
