Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 0–3 years of design experience in consumer, industrial, or electromechanical products (internship/co-op considered).
• Experience with 3D CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, NX or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports design and development for components, sub-assemblies, or systems from concept through validation and production release.
• Develops and maintains 3D CAD models, drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and specs for performance, safety, and manufacturability.
• Performs design trade-off analyses and documents rationale for decisions.
• Applies structured problem-solving to resolve design issues and field concerns.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and suppliers.
• Supports DFMEA inputs and design verification plans, including tolerance validation and durability testing.
