Job summary

TTI, Inc. seeks a Technology Development Engineer to drive new designs for targeted customers and convert them into profitable orders through supplier strategy and design registrations.

The role partners with regional and outside sales teams to develop strategies, visit customers, and execute design-ins while maintaining CAM/OMS data and collaborating with product managers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Electronics, plus 5+ years in technical support or design roles.
• Experience in distributor or supplier design functions.
• Ability to travel ~50%.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical product, application and supplier strategies with sales and marketing leadership.
• Visit customers with Outside Sales to drive design-in of focus products.
• Monitor activity using CAM/OMS and report progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with BPMs and GMs to review branch performance and OMS targets.
• Proactively identify new design opportunities and coordinate with technical resources.
• Maintain project data in CAM and ensure design registrations are applied for.
