Job summary

Phase2 Technology seeks a Technology Development Engineer to create new designs for targeted customers and convert them into increased sales with strong profitability backed by supplier design registration programs.

As part of our Technology Development Engineers Team, you will work with regional sales and suppliers to drive design-in, coordinate with Outside Sales and BPMs, and use our CAM/OMS tools to track progress and opportunities. Travel ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive product and technical knowledge within the distribution industry.
• Customer and application knowledge within the given region or country of responsibility.
• Experienced in the NBO Identification and Development process at a customer level.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical product, application and supplier strategies with the Director Technical Sales & Marketing and regional teams.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales and customers to execute design-in of focus products.
• Monitor CAM/OMS activity and report progress to branch PMs and Outside Sales Managers.
• Identify new projects with potential for design-in and coordinate with technical resources.
• Provide technical support to Sales and BPMs, coordinating with supplier teams.
• Lead product trainings with suppliers locally or at events.
• Use CAM/OMS and other tools to plan strategy and customer visits.
