Withum is seeking a Tech Audit Manager in New York City to lead and grow a multi-disciplinary audit team. This role focuses on planning, executing and supervising audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across diverse industries.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with partners on technical issues, and drive high-quality client service. The path to partnership is highlighted by leadership and firm success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license.
• Experience auditing commercial clients including SEC registrants.
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience with leading multiple engagements.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise the engagement team in planning and executing audits, reviews, or compilations.
• Oversee day-to-day engagement operations including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Provide supervision and support to staff and promote open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors and partners on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet deadlines.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies.
• Conduct performance discussions and provide guidance to team members.
• Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
