Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical.
• Available to work away from home in a five-day workweek.
• Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements.
• Team driving or over-the-road experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and team members.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off and work with fellow XPO employees.
• Navigate routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical five-day work week away from home.
