Job summary

Eastcut Sandwich Bar in Hope Valley West, NC is seeking a Morning Prep/Opener Team Member to support daily operations by opening the premises, receiving food, prepping, washing and cleaning.

You will perform high-volume prep at a vigorous pace, handle a variety of ingredients, and participate in ongoing training while helping uphold our quality and safety standards. A friendly, collaborative environment and opportunities for growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with high volume preparation and be able to work at a vigorous pace with or without supervision
• Ability to work with variety of ingredients not limited to meat, poultry, produce, and items containing major allergen groups with or without accommodation
• Must be able to reliably open the premises without intervention
• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented; strive for excellence in all things
• Ability to be regularly present for scheduled shifts
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate effectively and regularly
• Ability to occasionally work in hot or cold environments for extended periods of time
• Must be 18 years or older

Team Members with an Morning Prep/Opener focus are key to supporting the daily operations of Eastcut. You will participate in a variety of activities: opening the premises, food receiving, prepping, washing, and cleaning.

• Competitive wages, starting at $15 or more per hour inclusive of tips (depending on experience & availability) with regular compensation review
