Job summary

Chick-fil-A Oregon (OH) seeks a Training Manager to design and maintain training systems that prepare Team Members and Shift Leaders. You will own onboarding, certification, and leadership development, ensuring standards are understood and applied across FOH and BOH.

You will lead trainers, use performance data to tailor programs, and partner with a Talent Director to close skill gaps while delivering exceptional guest experiences and brand fidelity.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Leadership, supervisory, or training experience required; restaurant operations experience preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coach effectively under pressure.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing training schedules, records, assessments, and follow-up.
  • Comfortable using digital training tools, spreadsheets, and performance data.
  • Strong alignment with Chick-fil-A Oregon values.

Responsibilities

  • Own onboarding, station training, certification, cross-training, and leadership-development systems.
  • Create and maintain training guides, checklists, assessments, and digital resources aligned with restaurant and brand standards.
  • Build training plans for new hires, promotions, and operational changes.
  • Select, equip, coach, and evaluate Certified Trainers.
  • Lead orientation and coordinates training across FOH and BOH dayparts.
  • Track completion, certifications, assessments, and follow-up through scorecards and records.
  • Audit execution, identifies skill gaps, and assigns coaching or retraining.
  • Proactively communicate restaurant talent needs with the Talent Director.
  • Coordinate staffing readiness and performance priorities with the Talent Director and restaurant leaders.
  • Use performance data and feedback to improve training systems.
  • All other tasks as assigned.

Chick-fil-A Oregon (OH) – Team Member Experience Manager

Compensation: $20-24 per hour

The Training Manager builds and maintains training systems that prepare Team Members and Shift Leaders to perform their roles with confidence, consistency, and care. This role owns training design, implementation, follow-through, and continuous improvement across Front and Back of House.

The Training Manager creates role-based resources, coordinates onboarding and certification, equips trainers, and verifies that standards are understood and followed. This leader partners with the Talent Director and restaurant leaders to close skill gaps and strengthen readiness.

Role

The Training Manager turns restaurant standards into practical training systems, develops trainers, and uses observation and performance data to ensure training is completed, applied, and sustained.

Availability & Role Requirements
  • A passion to build training systems and processes with the aim of developing internal restaurant talent
  • Minimum Full-Time Availability: 32+ hours a week
  • Be available across opening, midday, evening, and Saturday shifts to observe and support training as business needs require
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and support hands-on training across restaurant stations
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to become ServSafe certified
Compensation
  • $20–$24 per hour

Exact compensation depends on availability and experience.
