Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Team Leader for Large Draw Machinery in Carteret, NJ. This role leads a production team to ensure equipment runs efficiently, while maintaining safety and high-quality standards on the shop floor.

The position operates on first shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with responsibilities including coaching operators and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, basic math and Excel skills, and the ability to read procedures in English.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required; furnace experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, safety requirements, and calibrated equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime to support operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a manufacturing team to ensure machinery operates effectively.
• Maintain 6S and safety standards across the work area and address deviations.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
• Lead training and on-the-job coaching of operators.
• Participate in process improvements and root-cause analysis.
