Job summary

Bruker is hiring a Team Leader, Large Draw Machinery in Carteret, NJ. The role oversees a production team, ensuring safe operations, 6S standards, and achievement of manufacturing targets while maintaining product quality.

The position requires experience in manufacturing (furnace preferred), clear English communication, and the ability to read SOPs. OT may be required; US citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience required; furnace experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading/writing).
• Ability to read, interpret SOPs, safety requirements, and calibrated equipment.
• Follow safety policies and use required PPE.
• Overtime may be required to meet operational needs.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices, maintain 6S and safety standards, and take action when not met.
• Meet manufacturing targets and maintain product quality.
• Follow area control plans and standard work.
• Lead production problem resolution and escalate to Group Leader as needed.
• Lead training and coaching of equipment operators and document training.
• Participate in process improvement projects and root-cause analysis for corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and maintain visual displays.
• Cross-train as needed by business needs.
