Job summary

Bruker Daltonics in New Jersey is seeking a manufacturing team lead to oversee a production crew in a first-shift role (7:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will ensure safe practices, meet targets, and coach operators while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and strong communication. Overtime may be required; vaccines and site-specific trainings apply. Competitive benefits are offered with base pay and incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Basic math and computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively and read and write in English.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Ability to follow all safety policies and use required safety equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support operational requirements.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working practices and maintain 6S and safety standards.
• Meet manufacturing targets and ensure product quality.
• Follow area control plans and standard work.
• Address production problems and escalate to Group Leader as needed.
• Lead training and coaching of operators; coordinate on-the-job training.
• Participate in production activities and collaborate with quality/process engineers on procedural changes.
• Contribute to process improvement projects and root cause analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Maintain visual displays and metrics in the area.
• Cross-train as required by business needs.
