Job summary

The Escape Game in East Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Team Leader to deliver world-class hospitality and proactively anticipate guest needs. You will supervise a team of 4-15, uphold service standards, and foster a fun, positive atmosphere during fast-paced shifts.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, ensuring games start on time, coaching staff under The Escape Game's leadership framework, handling cash and inventory, and maintaining store upkeep to guarantee a five-star guest experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical duties include cleaning, painting, standing, and light maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (about 75-80% of your shift).
• Align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.
