Job summary

Gregory's Coffee is seeking a hands-on Team Lead for our New York location. You will partner with leaders to uphold quality, service, and cleanliness across all hours, stepping in when a Store Leader or Multi-Unit Leader isn't present.

You will coach teams on guest-first service, maintain health standards, monitor inventory and costs, and develop your people to become the next generation of leaders in a fast-paced coffee operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cafe/retail teams and coaching staff.
• Ability to uphold health, safety, and quality standards.
• Strong guest-service orientation and leadership presence.

Responsibilities

• People Development: educate and elevate team performance, identify high-potential staff.
• Operational Standards: ensure adherence to standards, train on new menus and procedures, pass health inspections.
• Service Standards: lead by example with 5-star service, manage customer concerns, build guest relationships.
• Facilities & Maintenance: keep equipment clean and maintained, plan deep-clean tasks, respond to facility issues.
• HR Management: ensure compliance with labor laws, communicate changes, support proactive employee relations.
• Financial Performance: monitor sales, labor, and COGS; manage inventory and cash handling; optimize store profitability.
