An established industry player is seeking a Life Team Leader to ensure accurate and fair adjudication of life claims. The Life Team Leader is responsible for validating that all Life claims are accurately and fairly adjudicated according to plan provisions, established best practices, and within state and federal guidelines. The Team Leader must manage and resolve issues related to claim administration procedures, cost containment activities, reports, and quality control issues.
The Team Leader will serve as the primary resource for the team, providing direction by setting objectives, communicating progress and goals, and holding staff accountable for quality assurance, turnaround times, adherence to best practice standards, and operational efficiency. They will assist team members with development and career progression. The role involves partnering internally with cross-functional areas for program direction, goal setting, service delivery, and development of action plans, as well as leveraging bench strength. External interactions include working with customers to enhance their experience. The overall functioning of the department is also a key responsibility.

This position is remote with occasional travel as determined by the leader. Preference is given to candidates near a Guardian office.
Salary Range:
$57,330.00 - $94,185.00
The salary is an estimate based on location and will be determined by experience and qualifications. Additional incentive compensation may be available.
