KI in Manitowoc seeks a hands-on and detail-oriented Fabrication Team Leader to join our operations. You will support production by ensuring technicians have materials and resources to maintain workflow, track downtime and quality metrics, and serve as backup to the Production Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Coordinator with daily operations, job setup, and technician support.
• Monitor production flow and ensure technicians have necessary materials.
• Coordinate packaging and skidding of fabricated parts.
• Troubleshoot fabrication equipment (presses, saws).
• Maintain production display boards and document downtime/quality issues.
• Step in to assist with production tasks as needed.
• Suggest and support productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Promote and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Train new employees on PPE and safety protocols.

Location: Manitowoc

Hours: 6am - 2pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime

Salary: Starting at $21.50

• Familiarity with BPCS system or willingness to learn
• Solid understanding of fabrication processes and product knowledge
