Job summary

KI in Manitowoc, WI is hiring a Paint Line & Assembly Technician for our Paint Department. This hands-on role supports powder coating and finishing processes to help bring high-quality products to life in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

You will hang hooks, perform color changeovers, protect parts from scratches, and assist with final assembly. No experience required—training provided; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required – training will be provided.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform frequent bending.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Hang hooks and parts on the paint line based on production priorities
• Perform color changeovers efficiently
• Tape and protect parts from scratches as they come off the line
• Inspect, pack, and assemble parts as needed
• Support final assembly by ensuring timely delivery of painted components
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve productivity.

Location: Manitowoc

Shift: 6am - 2pm Monday through Friday (occasional overtime)

Pay: Starting at 19.00/hour
