Millerbernd Manufacturing Company Llc in Winsted, MN is seeking a Team Lead for the 2nd or Weekend shift in our Transportation & Infrastructure team. The role leads a fabrication/production crew on pole pre-assembly, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The Team Lead trains staff, manages shift workflows, performs performance reviews, and upholds company values while coordinating with supervisors. Hourly pay ranges with incentives and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership role in manufacturing or as an informal leader.
• Experience in metal fabrication.
• Ability to perform basic shop math.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing paperwork and engineering documentation.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical leadership to the assigned team in pole pre-assembly manufacturing.
• Manage flow of orders and material handling within the team.
• Engage and motivate the team; select and train team members.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings with direct reports; monitor production and quality targets.
• Plan daily activities and allocate resources; provide feedback and escalate issues.
• Promote a positive, inclusive team environment and follow safety policies.
• Complete timecards, performance reviews, and assist with safety trainings as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and support area with supervisors.
