Job summary

Millerbernd Manufacturing in Winsted, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to inspect, maintain, and repair production equipment to keep operations running smoothly. The role includes hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic repairs with troubleshooting responsibilities.

Shifts available: 2nd shift and weekend; pay range $27.17–$32.12 per hour, with shift differentials and Freight Train Profit Sharing. Benefits include PTO, tuition reimbursement, EAP and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with two years of maintenance experience.
• Formal skilled trades program in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electrical maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Welding capabilities.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and use measuring tools.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, cranes and other power equipment as needed.
• Work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair production equipment and facilities.
• Complete hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic repairs.
• Assemble, build and move production equipment.
• Dismantle and replace defective parts; adjust for efficient operation.
• Complete PM reports and maintain documentation for large issues.
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Maintain clean work area and safe practices.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis.
