Job summary

Millerbernd Manufacturing in Sauk Rapids, MN is hiring a Team Lead for the weekend shift. You will provide tactical leadership to the Circular Products team, ensure quality and safety, and drive production efficiency on a Friday–Sunday 5am–5pm schedule with a $2.50/hour weekend differential.

You will train and coach team members, assign tasks, and maintain standards and procedures to meet production goals while fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will have prior leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team in a metal fabrication environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and initiative skills.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical leadership to the assigned team on the weekend shift.
• Ensure quality and production targets are met following standard work and processes.
• Act as trainer or mentor, ensure proper onboarding and training for new hires.
• Plan daily activities and monitor team performance; provide feedback.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings and escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
