Soleil Tans, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Team Lead to support the Director of Operations, drive sales, coach teammates, and deliver the luxury guest experience Soleil is known for.

The role requires proven leadership in retail or service, the ability to coach and motivate a team, strong communication, and independent decision-making. Compensation includes $24–$28 per hour, plus performance bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, fitness, beauty, restaurant or customer service.
• Proven sales leadership experience.
• Ability to coach and motivate teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable making decisions and leading independently.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional service in line with our brand promise; build rapport with guests and tailor memberships, services and products; resolve concerns professionally.
• Sales: Lead by example using Soleil's proven sales process; drive memberships, retail sales and service upgrades; monitor daily performance metrics and coach for improvement.
• Leadership: Coach, mentor and develop partners; hold daily coaching and performance conversations; onboard and train new team members; lead shifts independently.
• Operations: Support scheduling, inventory and daily operations; maintain luxury-level cleanliness and presentation; ensure adherence to policies and shift management.

The Role

As a Team Lead at Soleil Tans, you support the Director of Operations while driving sales, coaching partners and delivering the luxury guest experience Soleil is known for. This role is for experienced leaders who can confidently lead a team from day one.

What You'll Do

Guest Experience

• Deliver exceptional service in line with our brand promise.
• Build rapport with guests and recommend memberships, services and products tailored to their goals.
• Make every guest feel welcomed and appreciated, and resolve concerns professionally.

Sales

• Lead by example using Soleil's proven sales process.
• Drive memberships, retail sales and service upgrades.
• Monitor daily performance metrics, coach for improvement and build a competitive, positive sales culture.

Leadership

• Coach, mentor and develop partners, and hold them accountable to company standards.
• Hold daily coaching and performance conversations.
• Help onboard and train new team members.
• Lead shifts independently and model our Core Values every shift.

Operations

• Support scheduling, inventory and daily operations.
• Maintain luxury-level cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including opening, closing and shift management.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, fitness, beauty, restaurant or customer service.

Pay & Perks

• Pay: $24-$28/hour
• Sales bonuses averaging $1-$4/hour

Schedule
