Job summary

ASML US, LP seeks a First Line Support (FLS) Production Engineer for the Wilton Factory in Wilton, CT. You will rapidly respond to production disturbances, support the POD steps, and aid in troubleshooting to maintain manufacturing output in a highly hands-on role.

You will work with mechanical, optical, and electrical teams, read complex drawings, and contribute to PFMEA and cycle-time improvements. Exposure to cleanroom environments and cross-functional collaboration are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years experience, or Master’s degree in engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, alignment, tooling, and test equipment.
• Working knowledge of epoxy application in opto-mechanical designs.
• Experience with detectors, electro-optical devices, and opto-mechanical constructions.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, optical, and electrical technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability and interest in working approximately 75% of the time in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment.
• Strong ownership, communication, teamwork, and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid engineering support for problems involving mechanical assembly and alignment during build, test and qualification.
• Analyze failed parts, perform root-cause analysis, and develop troubleshooting guidelines.
• Contribute to PFMEA, manufacturing procedures, and DOA root-cause analysis.
• Read and interpret mechanical, optical, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting.
• Work ~75% in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment to support production output.
