Job summary

ASML is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer for the Wilton Factory, CT, working the Back End Nights shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Wed/Fri plus every other Sat). You will troubleshoot production disturbances and support engineering dashboards to maintain output.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering with 1+ year in production, plus the ability to read mechanical/electrical/optical drawings and collaborate across teams. ISO and cleanroom exposure described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with 1+ years in production or manufacturing engineering.
• 0-1 year of work experience in high-tech production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience in optical fabrication/assembly is a plus.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical process control and PFMEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and document interruptions on the production floor with technicians and opticians.
• Develop and implement short-term containments and structural solutions for production issues.
• Escalate process/procedural issues to the Production Engineering team and act as a solution consultant.
• Safely use cleaning solvents per EHS guidelines to troubleshoot and remove contamination.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and optical drawings; generate detailed reports after machine failure.
