Job summary

ASICS America Corporation seeks a Team Lead (Key Holder) for our Vineland store. In the absence of management, you supervise staff, enforce policies, and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering a high-quality shopping experience.

You will greet customers, educate on products, assist with backroom tasks, price and display merchandise, and help train associates to meet sales goals. You must be able to stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail experience; sporting or athletic industry preferred.
• Stand and walk around during scheduled hours, reach for products using ladder, stepstool and pole.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving business results through leading the team, managing the sales floor and ensuring sales goals are achieved.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to inquiries or complaints.
• Retrieve product from the backroom and/or topstock using provided equipment.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service and quality products.
• Support the Head Coach with training and evaluating employees to meet sales goals.
• Examine merchandise to ensure correct pricing and display for maximum customer experience.
• Oversee the work activities of sales associates, including cleaning and organizing product for easy shopping.
• Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management.
• Instruct employees on handling difficult and complicated sales.
