Horizons Residential Care Center in Rural Hall, NC seeks a Team Lead (DSP/Residential Care) for the 2nd shift. You will supervise Disability Support Professionals, model high-quality, person-centered care, and ensure safety and meaningful activities for residents.

This full-time role emphasizes coaching, staffing coverage, and collaboration with leadership. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in healthcare or residential settings.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with resident mobility.
• Willingness to work rotating weekends.
• Preferred supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience in healthcare, residential care, education, or ICF settings.
• Background in recreational therapy or related fields.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead and support DSP teams to ensure quality care, meaningful activities, and resident safety.
• Ensure staffing coverage, schedules, and breaks are followed.
• Step in to provide direct care when needed.
• Coach, train, and support new and existing staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to address daily operational needs.
• Uphold Horizons’ policies, procedures, and values.
• Support transportation needs, including driving agency vehicles if required.
