Skill Creations, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Duplin-Warsaw, NC. This role involves assisting with personal care, medication administration, and independent living skills in residential facilities.

Full-time and part-time positions are available on 2nd shift and other shifts. Pay starts at $17.60 per hour, with additional opportunities as a backup/PRN at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Criminal Record Check required.
• Prompt and regular attendance for assigned schedule.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR/First Aid training and Behavior Management coursework will be required for successful completion.
• Basic computer skills for e-mail, training modules and data recording.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; ability to be on feet most of the time.

Responsabilités

• Provide support and care for individuals with developmental disabilities in Skill Creations facilities.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, and independent living skills.
• Transport or accompany individuals to community activities and appointments.
• Support individuals to participate in daily living activities and routines.
