Job summary

Oatey is seeking a detail-driven Production Operator to maintain continuous flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Omaha, NE. You will manage materials, document production records, and support line changeovers while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years in the department for in-depth product knowledge, with strong math, problem solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• English fluency (written and verbal) and ability to read simple instructions.
• Two years' experience in the department for in-depth product knowledge.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth flow of operations in assigned area; organize resources and workflow.
• Complete production records and data entry (DPRs, process monitors, production summaries).
• Assist with changeovers and line flushes; oversee downtime clean-up activities.
• Perform material handling and replenish materials to meet schedule.
• Audit work areas for SOP compliance and documentation; verify raw materials per BOM/DPR.
• Startup equipment and adjust line speeds; perform quality inspections and document results.
• Maintain 6S and lean practices; use visual tools and update boards; participate in CIP/Kaizen.
