Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Production Operator at our Omaha, NE facility. The role focuses on making batch mixes using established formulations to meet safety, quality and production goals daily.

You will perform mixing tasks, gather materials, follow SOPs, and maintain detailed production records in a lean, safety‑driven environment. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety, and continuous improvement, including 6S practices and ISO documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred with advanced mathematics and/or science background.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Compounding, quality or science education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes mixing tasks on a rotational basis as assigned by the supervisor/team leader of the department.
• Follow all company safety procedures in completion of job duties.
• Operate all necessary mixing and testing equipment.
• Gather and verify all raw materials for each batch mix per the double check sheet.
• Follow standard operating procedures on check sheet to make required batch mixes.
• Maintain mixes for all lines while performing other duties assigned by department.
• Complete production records and data entry as required.
