Job summary

CAVA is seeking Team Leaders to bring our mission to life in our restaurants. TLs support performance in partnership with GMs, lead the team daily, promote a positive work environment, and deliver on commitments to guests. They delegate routines, ensure standards, and assist in training and development of Team Members.

This role may evolve and duties may change; CAVA emphasizes hospitality, quality food, and a culture built on core values.

Qualifications

• Work closely with Managers and Team Members to bring the spirit of hospitality to our guests and create quality food
• Coach, develop, and support the cross training of Team Members as our business continues to grow
• Support the overall restaurant experience and execute key duties including but not limited to opening and closing the restaurant, placing food orders, conducting inventory, and cash handling as needed
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure that other Team Members follow proper food safety practices and cleanliness standards
• Model sound decision making and help resolve issues that may arise
• Support deployment practices on your scheduled shift to ensure heightened levels of service interactions with guests, as well as prompt presentation of food orders

Responsibilities

• Lead the team daily and promote a positive work environment to deliver on guest commitments
• Delegate routines and important tasks to team members while ensuring standards are executed
• Collaborate with Assistant General Managers and General Managers to support performance success
• Assist in training and developing Team Members to grow within the business
• Uphold food safety practices and maintain cleanliness standards across the restaurant
