Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Team Lead - Environmental Services to supervise Environmental Technicians in patient rooms, ancillary areas and public facilities. The role ensures day-to-day assignments and calls are completed efficiently.

This safety-sensitive position requires leadership, hospital cleaning experience, and the ability to mentor staff. The team lead will coordinate schedules, monitor quality, and uphold cleaning standards across the campus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• This is a safety sensitive position.*
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital
• Must be familiar with and understand all functions that are delegated to ES Tech I, II, and Floor care Specialist positions
• Capability to motivate, mentor, and train staff
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
• Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, ideally in environmental services or other related field preferred
• Proven experience in supervisory or management role, overseeing staff and operations
• Proficiency in housekeeping equipment and cleaning products preferred
• Familiarity with relevant software for managing schedules, inventory, and reporting preferred

• Monday- Friday: Typical hours 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• This position is based within Jefferson Regional Environmental Services Department
