Job summary

Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking an Environmental Technician II to perform basic disinfecting and cleaning of the hospital and clinics.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

Environmental Tech II is responsible for the basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility and hospital owned clinics. This position is also responsible for removal of a regular wasted and medical waste alone with boxes and the disposal of equipment and furniture.

Environmental Technician II Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning role preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital infection control procedures preferred.
• Must be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and department.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.
