Job summary

PAC Services LLC seeks an experienced Team Lead Direct Support Professional to guide a team of DSPs and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We value hands-on leadership, compassion, and commitment to meaningful living for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Team Lead / Manager of Direct Support Professionals.
• Must pass and maintain Med Pass Certification.
• High school diploma or GED required (additional certifications a plus).
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks (as required).
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors professionally and calmly.
• Comfortable with documentation and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community involvement.
• Serve as the go-to leader on shift, offering guidance, coaching, and support to DSP staff.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and mentoring.
• Ensure person-centered plans, behavior support plans, and care documentation are followed accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment for individuals and staff.
• Step in to problem-solve, de-escalate situations, and lead during critical moments.
