PAC Services in Ohio is seeking a Team Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental disabilities, lead a DSP team on shift, and model compassionate care.

This role requires hands-on leadership, staff training, and ensuring compliance with person-centered plans and documentation, with potential evenings and weekends depending on scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as Team Lead / Manager of Direct Support Professionals.
• Must pass and maintain Med Pass Certification.
• High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with daily living activities and community involvement.
• Lead on shift, coaching and supporting DSP staff.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and mentoring.
• Ensure person-centered plans and care documentation are followed.
• Communicate with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and de-escalate when needed.

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Team Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while guiding and mentoring a team of DSPs. This role is perfect for someone who leads by example, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is passionate about helping others live full, meaningful lives.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct support to individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community involvement
• Serve as the go-to leader on shift, offering guidance, coaching, and support to DSP staff
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and mentoring
• Ensure person-centered plans, behavior support plans, and care documentation are followed accurately
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment for individuals and staff
• Step in to problem-solve, de-escalate situations, and lead during critical moments

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Team Lead / Manager of Direct Support Professionals
• Must pass and maintain Med Pass Certification.
• High school diploma or GED required (additional certifications a plus)
