Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at our New Jersey child care center to guide classroom learning and implement curriculum. You will promote child development, lead interactions with families, and mentor new staff while ensuring licensing standards are met.

The role includes leadership duties, potential Director/Assistant Director responsibilities in absences, and a Monday–Friday schedule with attractive benefits for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state/accreditation education requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and be physically active with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement.
• Mentor and train new hires; create engaging learning experiences.
• In the absence of the Director, take on duties including opening/closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of children following licensing guidelines and company standards.
