Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to advance the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children while leading classroom management and curriculum delivery.

You will communicate with families to promote child achievement, and you will mentor new hires, helping to create engaging learning experiences for preschoolers. In the absence of leadership, you may assume Director or Assistant Director duties and manage opening/closing tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote growth of children; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires while creating engaging learning experiences.
• Assume Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening and closing.
• Ensure daily care following licensing guidelines and company standards.
