Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Team Lead at a Texas child care center. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children, take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure a high standard of daily care.

You will communicate with families, mentor new hires, and may assume Director or Assistant Director duties when needed, providing a supportive, collaborative environment for staff and children alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires; share engaging learning experiences with preschoolers.
• Step into Director or Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening/closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
